Specimen Collection Updated
- The following tests primary container were updated to 5 mL Gold Top SST with an alternative of 6 mL Red Top:
- Fatty Acid Profile (LAB872)
- Carbohydrate Deficient Transferring (LAB2111023)
- Congenital Disorders of N-Glycosylation Serum (LAB1230718).
Other Updates
- Drugs of Screens from ED (LAB677) are now routed to Chemistry instead of Toxicology.
- Histoplasma Antibody, Serum (LAB2111209) became obsolete per Mayo. Replacement Test: Histoplasma Antibody Complement Fixation and Immunodiffusion, Serum LAB1231760
- Lactate Dehydrogenase Isoenzymes, Serum (LAB97) was inactivated
- Primary container for Primidone and Phenobarbital, Serum (LAB485) was updated to be a 5 mL Gold SST R.
- Plasma Free Hemoglobin (LAB2026) was updated to “Plasma Hemoglobin Level”.
