To add on additional testing to a specimen at Spectrum Health Lab: Add On Form
Each add-on request will be investigated by lab for appropriateness. If the specimen is still viable, testing will be completed and results will be sent. If the specimen is not available or not appropriate, a call will be made by Laboratory staff to alert clinicians that a new specimen is required.
To cancel a test that has been marked as cancelled in your EMR or EpicCare Link: Order Cancellation Form
Cancellation of order must be made before receipt of specimen. Note: during times of high volume of orders, cancelled orders may take up to 5 business days to complete. You may receive a call notifying you of your cancelled test during this time.
